Passes Membership Updates: Quarterly Plans, Rich Text Descriptions, and a Redesigned Experience
Introducing a new Quarterly Subscription plan, updates to the overall membership creation flow and design, and rich text editor for greater customization!

Passes has rolled out a series of updates to the membership creation flow, making it easier for creators to set up and manage memberships and giving fans a cleaner, clearer way to browse and manage their subscriptions.
Here is everything that is new and how to use it.
What Is New for Creators
Reorganized Membership Creation Flow
The Membership Creation page has been reorganized to make the setup process more streamlined from start to finish.
Key changes include:
- The Subscription membership type is now pre-selected by default so you can get started without extra steps
- A new dedicated Subscription Plan section lets you offer discounts for quarterly and annual plans in one place
- After you set your monthly price, Passes automatically generates your quarterly and annual prices based on your chosen discount percentage

New Quarterly Subscription Plan
Creators can now offer fans three subscription plan options: monthly, quarterly, and annual. This gives fans more flexibility in how they commit to your membership and gives you more options for structuring discounts that drive longer-term subscriptions.
Rich Text Editor for Membership Descriptions
The Description section now includes an integrated rich text editor that lets you format your membership details clearly and professionally.
With the rich text editor you can:
- Add bullet points to highlight what is included in each membership tier
- Bold key benefits or selling points
- Italicize text for emphasis
- Underline important details

A well-formatted membership description makes it easier for fans to understand exactly what they are getting before they subscribe. The rich text editor will also be available for use on posts in a future update.
Redesigned Membership Templates
Passes has redesigned its membership templates to be more intuitive and creator-friendly. The updates include:
- A smaller membership image for a cleaner layout
- Updated copy that highlights the price of each membership more prominently
- Consolidated action buttons now housed under a three-dot menu that opens a modal window with all additional options
Once your membership is successfully created, you can manage it under Creator Tools in your Passes dashboard.
What Is New for Fans
Updated Subscription Plan Display
When creators have enabled annual and quarterly plans, fans now see pricing options displayed in a clear order: Annual first, then Quarterly, then Monthly. This layout makes it easier to compare options and choose the plan that fits best.
Clearer Membership Browsing
Fans can now see all memberships a creator offers in one view, with each membership clearly highlighting any free trials or discounts the creator has applied.
Redesigned Membership Cards
The Memberships card has a new look designed to make managing subscriptions simpler and more intuitive:
- Status badges indicate whether a membership is Active, Canceled, or Expired at a glance
- Clearer call-to-action buttons make it easier to manage, upgrade, or cancel subscriptions
