Zeda Zhang Creator Spotlight: The Fighter Who Keeps It Real on Passes
From getting tricked into her first MMA fight to a decade in WWE, Zeda Zhang has built a career on pure willpower. Here is what she is creating on Passes.
Zeda Zhang did not plan to become a fighter. She got tricked into her first MMA fight, stepped into the cage against an opponent two weight classes heavier, and won by unanimous decision. That is not a origin story you manufacture, but rather a story centered on pure willpower. And it has defined everything she has done since.
After a full decade in WWE, Zeda is stepping into her next chapter: building a creator community as unfiltered and driven as she is. On Passes, she is showing her most loyal fans organic, genuine content that reflects her true persona and character.
Here is what she had to say in her Passes Creator Spotlight.
Q&A With Zeda Zhang
Where did your "WillKillA" nickname come from?
I got tricked into my first MMA fight. I was put into a fight with a girl that was two weight classes heavier than me with three months' notice. I ended up going into this fight, and by unanimous decision, I ended up winning. It was my willpower that got me through. My name comes from willpower. I will kill their will to live.
What's one thing about being a Passes creator that you didn't expect when you started?
I had no idea how organized Passes is and how they have so many people that are helpful. They have so many resources and features that I needed that I didn't find on other platforms. Passes already thought about the things that I wanted.
What's a behind-the-scenes moment from creating content that your subscribers would be surprised by?
With my content, people think that maybe I'm going over the top for it, because most creators do that. They put on a persona. But my content is just purely me. It's literally how I feel in the moment. It's organic to what I do. If something comes as a surprise, it's because it came as a surprise to me too.
Where do you see yourself in five years?
I'm going back to my roots of self-defense. After MMA, I was signed to WWE, and it's now been 10 years in that field. My body hurts. I don't want to suffer a worse injury. I have friends who got paralyzed. I'm trying to move on to the next phase of my career, which is self-defense. I'm spiritual, and the thing I want to leave behind is something impactful that makes a difference in the world.
Why Zeda Zhang Joined Passes
Zeda Zhang spent a decade inside the most scripted environment in sports entertainment, and she still could not fake who she was. Passes gave her a space where she does not have to.
For her subscribers, that means access to the version of Zeda that does not exist on polished social feeds: raw, reactive, and real.
With a new chapter focused on self-defense and leaving something genuinely impactful behind, Zeda is just getting started. The willpower that carried her through that first fight is the same energy she brings to everything she creates now.
Follow Zeda on Passes and get the content, connection, and the unfiltered story she does not share anywhere else.
